Just 40km from Brisbane lies the sleepy village of Mount Glorious, surrounded by the magnificent environment of the D'Aguilar National Park. Within these tranquil surroundings is Turkey's Nest Rainforest Cottages, an idyllic, peaceful retreat set in 15 acres or untouched rainforest, which offers visitors an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. From the moment you enter your cosy, private rainforest cottage you will feel yourself relax. Awake to the sound of bird song, relax on the veranda, visit a local cafe or take a leisurely walk in the National Park. Mt Glorious is a bird watcher's paradise, with over 80 species of Australian native birds seen on the mountain. At 650m above sea level, Mount Glorious is pleasantly cool in summer. In winter, as mists waft through the rainforest, warm yourself by the fireplace, with a glass of wine, a good book.
