This a beginner's to intermediate guide for Combat Rogue in the 5.4.7 and 5.4.8 patches, but even seasoned Rogues may be able to find some tips for their play. The guide is super long so I have added annotations if you want to skip ahead. I recorded all audio while playing so for certain portions I am not playing well while talking but i did I add some target dummy dps at normal speed at the end to see real dps and rotation. Edit: I have been working on a few things I have seen about a 20k dps increase by using rupture(less energy to reduce cds) and using Killing spree as soon as its up if I am in Deep Insight and I don't have much time left on Deep Insight( reguardless of whether I have my other cds up or not).
