SOFT AND MOIST MOCHA CHIFFON CAKE RECIPE... A Chiffon Cake is a type of foam cake which has a ratio of eggs to flour and is leavened mainly from the air beaten into the eggwhites.
This recipe is twisted into a Mocha flavored Chiffon Cake.
Ingredients:
1 3/4 cup cake flour, sifted
1 1/2 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp fine salt
3/4 cup sugar
6 large eggs, separated
2 tbsp instant coffee
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 cup hot water
1/2 cup oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp cream of tartar
1/2 cup sugar
