PLOT:
It all begins at the Salvatore school, Hope returns from New Orleans after her tragedies and finds a group of new students in her class, including Daniel.
She is overwhelmed by her beauty but also by her story about the Fallen Angels, which she didn't know because she never attended church.
She finds Daniel wherever she goes, they meet by fate but every time he runs away. Hope, who is the mighty tribrid, starts having hallucinations and dreams (she hasn't activated the vampire side of her yet).
At a fencing lesson she discovers that she is a good fighter and she manages to stand up to Daniel, only because she sees two lovers doing the same. She seeks explanations from him but Daniel tells her that he is in love with another girl, only that they broke up.
Visions of her begin to endanger Hope, so much so that she becomes unaware of her when a statue of her falls on her and Daniel saves her.
The two start talking about her and he tells her the story of her that she is writing, she talks about two lovers cursed by the devil, every time they kiss she dies and returns seventeen years later.
Things start to make sense for Hope and she researches, she realizes it's not a cosmic mistake like she believed, she has a purpose.
She finds Daniel that night and she throws herself into the void, sure she'll get her because he's an angel and that's what happens. Finally she knows everything, which is that they have loved each other for thousands of years and that she has always been human, except this time.
They kiss and Hope survives.
He shows her all their memories but they know they are not free yet, the devil knows the curse has been broken.
Together, for the last time, they choose love, but will love choose them?
