Ever thought about skipping Prague’s Petřín funicular and walking up instead? 🌿
Join me as I hike from Malostranská to the top of Petřín Hill, one of Prague’s most beautiful green spaces — and a must-see for anyone who loves a good city walk with epic views!

Petřín Hill has been a local favourite for centuries. With its winding trails, shaded gardens, and that charming mini-Eiffel-Tower lookout, it’s the perfect blend of nature, history, and fairy-tale Prague magic. Along the way, I’ll pass old stone walls, rose gardens, and plenty of peaceful spots to catch your breath (and maybe a Trdelník 🍩YUK!).

The Petřín Funicular usually takes the easy route up from Újezd — but since it’s currently closed for a full renovation until around 2026, there’s no better time to experience the hill the classic way: on foot! 🥾

Fun fact: Petřín even appears in Franz Kafka’s Description of a Struggle and Milan Kundera’s The Unbearable Lightness of Being — so you’ll be walking through literary history as well as one of Prague’s best viewpoints.
