Linocut, a dynamic printmaking technique, melds meticulous craftsmanship with boundless imagination, and these young artists harnessed its power to craft visually enchanting narratives.

Linocut, often referred to as 'relief printing,' involves carving intricate designs into linoleum sheets, transforming them into stamps that are then inked and pressed onto paper. Under the guidance of Pankaj Bisht, IIAD’s Material Lab maestro, the workshop blossomed into a haven of exploration and creativity. With each chiselled line, the students etched their stories onto the linoleum canvas, encapsulating emotions, dreams, and perspectives. The tactile nature of linocut urges them to immerse themselves entirely in their creations, seamlessly bridging the gap between conception and tangible artistry.
