Waternut is a 2014 Hanse 385 listed exclusively for sale with YOTI on Pittwater.
The Hanse 385 is one of the most successful models built by the German manufacturer both globally and locally and Waternut is one of the youngest examples yet to be offered for sale. Designed for easy, quick and comfortable cruising, Waternut also offers a very well rounded and substantial level of factory and local upgrades.
The brands signature self-tacking headsail, plus all lines leading to the aft winches just forward of the twin wheels make shorthanded sailing simple as do the B&G auto-pilot and upgraded electric winches. The upgraded performance mainsail and jib plus a Code Zero offer an exciting sail package which partner nicely with the sleek and slippery Judel/Vrolijk designed hull.
The cockpit with twin wheels, large drop down swim platform, folding table with colour chart plotter and BBQ gives all we look for in a modern useable cruising yacht. Seriously impressive custom stainless steel dinghy davits have been installed. Additional winches have been added above the standard.
Accommodation consists of three large double cabins with the generous owner’s cabin forward. Upgraded furniture, upholstery and flooring were chosen and look great. The big saloon with folding table offers a huge amount of seating plus an additional pull out double berth gives flexibility when guests arrive or is simply a comfortable day bed.
