About the Instructor :
Leolani Gallardo has over 25 years of experience in Polynesian dance, training and performing with the most prestigious teachers and troupes. After touring worldwide to perform and teach, she returned to her home city of Los Angeles, California, and finally opened her own Tahitian dance school, Te Aho Nui, in 2016. Leolani has a fun and powerful way of teaching that creates a positive learning atmosphere for all of her students to feel welcome.

The L. A. Bellydance Academy is a dance studio that offers dance and music education for all ages and all skill levels. Our professional staff focuses on providing students with an environment that creates wellness, self-expression, utilizing dance as a bridge to create the mind-body-soul connection. World arts and culture are foundations to our curriculum which begins in the Arab world providing extensive studies in the ancient art of bellydance and then extending to all corners of the globe with Persian dance, Flamenco dance, Polynesian dance and so much more. As our studio continues to grow we will be committed to providing our community with weekly instruction, workshops, and special performance events designed to invigorate your artistic pursuits.
