A new waste store at Dounreay has met its first milestone early, with more than 25% of the concrete poured for the floor slab.
An estimated 1,200 cubic metres of concrete will be poured by contractor GRAHAM. The building will hold drums of intermediate level waste in long term storage in accordance with Scottish Government policy.
