If you ask players why they hate form shooting, they will tell you one answer...
"It's boring."
What they really mean is "it's not challenging", and they are right.
Coaches should be searching for the challenge in form shooting, and that usually comes by having SOME degree of variability, task complexity and game-representativeness to the drills. Unfortunately, most coaches strip away ALL of these elements and force players to try to repeat a "perfect" technique that doesn't exist, and certainly never habits in games.
