Описание: We attended one of our favorite train events along the Milwaukee District West Line for Franklin Park Railroad Daze. From 6:00am until 4:30pm, we were out trackside capturing the train action along the CPKC Elgin Subdivision from the slow rolling freight trains to the regularly scheduled Metra commuter trains running in and out of the city throughout the event. This year, Indiana Harbor Belt GP40 engines 4013 and 4011 were here with the addition of two newly rebuilt CPKC ET44AC diesel locomotives along with Metra SD70MACH 500 "RTA" Heritage Unit and Metra F40PH 120 "Veterans Unit" rounding out the equipment lineup. The icing on the cake was meeting many of you during the busy and fun filled day in Franklin Park. We hope you enjoy the video from this year's Franklin Park Railroad Daze!
