With 24 years of service at Victoria Police, Alex Wallace is first and foremost a General Duties Police Sergeant at Melbourne North. Holding portfolios as Mental Health Liaison Officer, Disability Liaison Officer and Police Aboriginal Liaison Officer, Alex works tirelessly to ensure everyone has fair access to justice and support, including those from diverse communities.
Alex chose this role because he felt it would be an extension of his morals, his job and what Victoria Police can do for the community. His guiding principle is simple: “Treat others as you would want to be treated.” His career reflects that belief in creating trust, breaking down barriers and demonstrating that policing combines professionalism with genuine care.
