Tuff Country long control arms dodge 2500

Описание: Little review of Tuff country #30942 that I put on my 2006 dodge 2500 4x4 which has a 3 in lift and 35"s. I would recommend this kit and say it's worth it. I got it from SuspensionConnection.com on their labor day sale. It took about a week and a half to come in. It's heavy duty enough package weighs 99lbs. Tubes are thick wall, brackets are 1/4in, joints and bolts are quality. I would go with a longer arm kit if you are looking at any upgraded arms, you are already at $400-$1000 and to me it would be worth it to go long arms. I don't think you would get the same benefits from a short arm kit. I can definitely feel a difference driving the truck, it has smoothed out the front end nicely (the rear is still stiff with add a leaf). The truck doesn't bounce as much on wash board roads and smaller bumps which makes it easier to steer and feels more planted. Feels like the articulation is better also, getting better grip on uneven sections. It helped move the axle forward which now the tires look more centered in the wheel wells and has more clearance to the rear part of fender. Took it to alignment shop and there weren't any issues, I think he just adjusted my toe in a little. In the video I mention a clunk noise I was hearing, that ended up being the step bars I built hitting the cab so not related to control arms. Be prepared to have to cut out some of the control arm bolts and have the ability to get new ones.
