Women in Crimea practice using combat drones as fighting in Ukraine rages

Описание: Women in a territorial defence unit in Yevpatoria, city in the east on Crimea trained with combat drones on Saturday (July 22) to strike on simulated enemy who took cover in a building.

Apart from drone practice, the training course, provided by Russian defence ministry also involves field medicine basics, one of the volunteers of the unit, Yulia, told Reuters.

"I don't want these skills and knowledge to be put into practice, we want peace on our soil. But just in case we will have that knowledge and we will use them if needed," she said.

The battle between Russia and Ukraine in the Zaporizhzhia region intensified in the start of June and Crimea has been repeatedly targeted by drone attacks.
