Getting Your Period Back After Having a Baby | What Helped Balance My Postpartum Hormones

Starting a new series on topics that are usually "taboo" and don't get talked about enough!
The first of those, postpartum periods. I don't think it's talked about enough and women are literally left to figure things out on their own and they're told that feeling like you've been hit by a truck, feeling emotionally unstable, insanely exhausted, and in pain are all "normal." But I refuse to think that those things are normal, so after my 3rd baby and 3rd postpartum recovery I did things differently to support my hormones. And let me tell ya, I am SO happy I did these things because my body is thanking me for it.

Now like I said in the video, I was very consistent and intentional and committed to aiding my body in the recovery process from my 3rd baby. And the recovery looked like fueling my body well with good food and nutrients, quality supplements and vitamins, getting 10k steps in a day, and using essential oils to help support my body in multiple ways.
Now that Aunt Flow has returned it's important for me to continue with my same healthy habits that I have created and committed to and continue to allow my hormones to regulate (especially because I the baby itch REALLY bad).
If you're a mom like me and have been searching and googling all the things but get discouraged because it's all mainstream mumbo jumbo that doesn't actually work, well I hope my story and journey is encouraging to you that there are ways to care for our postpartum bodies naturally. After 3 babies I can say this has been my best recovery so far!
