It is said if  your spirit is strong then no one can stop you from achieving success. Paytm founder Vijay Shekhar  is a living example of such a story. Vijay , coming from a small town of U.P faced a numerous problems in his life . being a hindi- medium student he faced a lot of problems in understanding and reciprocating in English due to which everyone made fun of him. With the help of his friends he made himself good at speaking English. He used to buy English and hindi versions of the same book and read them   parallelly in order to improve his vocabulary.  The biggest strength of a person is his will power and with this will power vijay learned and started speaking good English. Because of leaving the engineering college vijay had a lot of leisure time. Vijay was inspired by yahoo’s owner Sabir Bhatia and he was willing to contribute in the internet sector. Lack of finances did not allow him to complete his dream of learning in Stanford college. He learnt coding on himself and started an own built content management system. In the third year of his college he started his own company named XS. He sold this business to lotus interworks US at the cost of 5,00,000$ and started working in the same company. He left this company pretty soon and started another company named one97 in the year 2001. However this company was a big fall down for him. This was the saddest phase of his life wherein he was mentally and financially exhausted and even his partners left him alone. Vijay started living in the cheapest hotel of Delhi near Kashmiri gate. He used to walk and complete his daily errands and sometimes he even used to be empty stomach for the entire day. Vijay’s struggle helped him  to progress through GSM and CDMA mobile operators by providing them innovative services through his old company which slowly and gradually started earning profit. Looking at the new technologies of smart phones, he got an idea of cashless transaction. He shared his idea with the board of one 97 company , however no one was agreed with his plans. Hence, by investing 1% share of his equity, he established a business named paytm in the year 2001. Starting from DTH and prepaid mobile recharge he also started providing services like electricity bill and gas bill. Recently occurred  demonetisation led to higher growth of paytm. Paytm is the India’s most working website with a full fledged capital income of 15 thousand crore approximately. Economics time has chosen vijay Shekhar as the hottest business leader under 40.
