Описание: Our Ambassador Crystal was diagnosed with Glaucoma in her teens. This changed her life, but also made her more aware of the disparities society has created for disabled people, particularly when they carry more than one burden of discrimination.

By making the world physically inaccessible, society has limited the odds of disabled people succeeding and living a barrier-free life.

To open up the world for people with disabilities, Crystal founded Ability. Ability is an organisation that enables people to know whether a street, a building or any space is accessible or not. The project works in two phases; the first is to train young people on how to collect and assemble accessibility data, then transforms that data into an “ability map”. Ability collected data from over 600 buildings and streets in Nairobi since in foundation.

Crystal further plans on expanding Ability into other African nations and providing accessibility to over 80 billion people.
