Right next to a busy street in upscale Alpharetta, Georgia, is a full-fledged castle, the home of Rudy and Ruth McLaughlin.
This is a private residence, and tours are not available. It is definitely worth a trip though, to see the outside, if you’re anywhere near the area. Also, please note that I can not find references that mention the underground living quarters, and some have tole me those don't exist. I cannot affirm or deny. I do remember that it looked to me like the above-ground facility was all windows, but I don't know these things.
