Описание: Lisa Gade reviews the 2015 Alienware 15 gaming laptop. For 2015, Dell slimmed down and lightened the Alienware line and has also priced the line more competitively. We look at a fairly high end $1,949 configuration with the 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7-4720HQ quad core CPU (47 watt, not an Ultrabook CPU), 4K UHD 3840 x 2160 gloss touch screen with very wide color gamut, 16 gigs of RAM, 256 gig M.2 SSD, 1 TB 7200 RPM HDD and the NVIDIA GTX 970M 3GB DDR5 dedicated graphics card. The 7 lb. laptop is 1.34” thick and it has Killer 1525 WiFi 802.11ac, Killer E2200 Gigabit Ethernet, the AlienFX 4 color zone backlit keyboard and Klipsch stereo speakers. The Alienware 15 starts at $1,199 with a 1080p display, Core i5 dual core CPU and GTX 965M graphics. For $1,499 you can get it with a quad core i7, GTX 970M and 1080p display. It’s also available with the NVIDIA GTX 980M and AMD Radeon R9 M370X. All Alienware 15 models work with the optional $199 graphics amplifier that allows you to use a desktop graphics card with the laptop, which you might not need now but in a few years it will an easy way to upgrade graphics and gaming performance. The 4K model is particularly well suited to those who use pro apps like Adobe CC thanks to the high resolution and 99% Adobe RGB coverage. Battery life is also surprisingly good for this class of machine.
