Over 10,000 followers of the Dera Sacha Sauda sect have entered Panchkula despite prohibitory orders ahead of a court verdict this Friday in an alleged rape case against chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, and police personnel are on alert amid apprehensions of unrest. In Chandigarh, a cricket stadium at Sector 16 that served as the training ground for the likes of Kapil Dev and Yuvraj Singh will be converted into a temporary jail on August 25 to detain dera followers who arrive for the verdict.
पहरे में पंजाब है... बाबा पर फैसले से पहले धारा 144 लागू है... अनुयायियों का जमावड़ा जारी है... और दहशत में सरकार भी है... वजह बाबा राम रहीम पर आने वाला फैसला है... डेरा सच्चा सौदा प्रमुख बाबा राम रहीम के खिलाफ रेप केस में 25 अगस्त को अदालत का फैसला आने वाला है... इसके पहले ही हरियाणा सरकार ने राज्य के सभी जिलों में धारा 144 लागू कर दी है... वहीं, चंडीगढ़ पुलिस ने एक प्रेस रिलीज जारी कर बताया कि यदि जरुरत पड़ी तो चंडीगढ़ क्रिकेट स्टेडियम को अस्थाई जेल के रूप में तब्दील कर दिया जाएगा...
