Описание: At the closing bell, the 30-share Sensex plunged nearly 900 points to settle below 59,000, while the Nifty fell sharply by 1.5 per cent to 17,154.30.
Bringing some respite to today’s gloomy session was Tech Mahindra, which emerged as the top gainer on the Nifty index. Apollo Hospitals, Britannia and ONGC also ended the day with marginal gains.
