Coming up on this week's FAS TV, we are back on Skye to hear from Shelagh Parlane, RSPB Corncrake Project Officer and Jamie MacInnes, who is part of the Skye FAS Connect group. Over the years, corncrakes numbers have declined however there is an active population on Skye which has seen Shelagh and crofters working together to understand how the corncrakes are utilising Skye during the summer months.
Scotland’s Farm Advisory Service (FAS) is funded by the Scottish Government, providing information and resources aimed at increasing the profitability and sustainability of farms and crofts.
