Описание: This talk explores how anxiety, often seen only as a weakness or obstacle, can become a powerful force for personal growth and transformation. Anxiety is a universal emotion; it appears when we fear uncertainty, change, or responsibility. Yet beneath its uncomfortable surface lies a hidden energy that can push us to think deeper, act braver, and understand ourselves better. This talk examines how the mind reacts to stress, how fear sharpens our awareness, and how emotions we try to suppress can actually reveal our strongest abilities. Instead of treating anxiety as something to escape from, the speaker shows how it can be reframed as a signal, a motivator, and even a source of creativity. When understood correctly, anxiety becomes a tool that helps us set boundaries, make meaningful decisions, and pursue our goals with clarity. This talk invites viewers to look at their own anxiety not as an enemy, but as a companion that highlights what truly matters. By learning to channel its intensity, we can transform it into focus, resilience, and inner strength. I am currently studying at ALKEV Anatolian High School as an IB student. I have been a member of FRC Team 6459 for four years and now, I actively serve as a youth mentor. In previous years, I have also participated in various art competitions, and took part in several events both within and outside the school.

I am Selin Kenar, an IB DP1 student at ALKEV Anatolian High-school. Having participated in multiple clubs such as Fashion Brand Management, guitar and film, I am currently a participant of our school’s Model United Nations club, and recently have been a part of RCIMUN’25.
