🎧🎻🌟 Callanish Standing Stones . Lunar southerly standstill 2006 .🌛

Описание: Calanais ( Callanish ) on The Isle of Lewis is a stunning Neolithic standing stone arrangement seemingly dedicated to the triple aspect of the lunar goddess. At the end of the moons 18.6 year cycle she appears at her lowest point in the sky in the south. The northerly latitude of Calanais means that the moon rises from the body of the Sleeping Beauty Hills and appears to slide along her body before taking a short low flight then disappearing behind The Clisham Hills , then dramatically re appearing in the deep valley of Glen Langadale , lighting up the stone circle briefly before setting again.
Google Earth Studio was a nightmare again , this will be my last animation for now. There is also no ground level data available due to the remote location , so I couldn`t get close to the monument for the best camera angle.
But hopefully you will get the idea.
A bucket list event for sure , and it`s happening again next year (2025) so start saving your pennies.
