Kalki 2898 - A.D is mounted on a budget of ₹600 crore (US$75 million), making it the most expensive Indian film ever made. The film's music is scored by Santhosh Narayanan with cinematography by Djordje Stojiljkovic and production design by Nitin Zihani Choudhary, of Tumbbad (2018) fame.

Kalki 2898 - A.D became the first Indian film to be presented in San Diego Comic-Con's prestigious "Hall-H" in July 2023, where the makers unveiled the official title & glimpse of the highly anticipated film.[13][14]

Kalki 2898 - A.D is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on 9 May 2024.

Kalki 2898 – A.D is a 2024 Indian epic science-fiction dystopian film, based on Hindu scriptures and it is set in a post-apocalyptic world in 2898 AD. The film is directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by C. Aswani Dutt, under Vyjayanthi Movies.
