This is my recreation of Chet Atkins’ 1967 Solo Flight version of “Chet’s Tune.”
Written by Cy Coben to honor Chet’s 20 years with RCA, the piece has a unique feel—different from his usual fingerpicking, yet full of his unmistakable charm.
I tried to follow the original recording closely and capture the spirit of Chet’s performance.
I hope Chet is smiling up there as he listens.
