Here is our latest episode in our series of stories for nursery kids. Neena is covered in a mix of colours which scares her friends, except Appu who knows that it is Neena. Her friends address her as a monster before she reveals herself. She's covered in the mixture of colours as they celebrated Holi, an Indian festival. The Holi festival in India is celebrated during the spring season, where people throw colours and share sweets. The colours are made using a variety of minerals, flowers and roots. Neena explains the story of Holi, expressing that spring is the season when everything looks happy and it is time for making up for the mistakes. Hence a lot of colours is rubbed on the faces of the people. Appu feels that there couldn't be a jollier way to say sorry. Neena's friends are afraid of the fact that the colours might damage their skin, but Appu promises the same shall not happen.

They have a gala time as they celebrate the festival of Holi!
