Tested if able to pick Abloy Easy using modified Abloy Sento 2in1 pick, build 0.1.
This is the first step in Abloy Easy pick development. The purpose of this video is to document the results of this test done during one day after received the EUT for the info sharing within the locksport community.
The purpose of this video is not to state that a random Abloy Easy can be picked this fast.
Result: Easy is much harder to pick compared to Sento:
Keyway will taper while turning the key. This is a nice innovation!
Keyguiding element blocking picking tip operation angle more effectively.
Keyguiding element is not stiff, and will twist if rear tensioning same way as Sento.
Disclaimer:
A known lock is picked. I dont know if would be able to pick a random lock in a reasonable time using build 0.1. And for my locksport purposes that is even irrelevant: Pick only locks you own.
