This is a visual representation of the hallucinogenic and psychedelic effects of an extremely high dose (heroic dose) of hallucinogenic mushrooms, and some of the effects of the sacred mushrooms; Psilocybe cubensis and Psilocybe semilanceata, also known as the Golden Teacher and Liberty Cap mushroom respectively. These contain the tryptamine compounds Psilocybin, Psilocin, and Baeocystin; all of which function as serotonergic psychedelics similar to Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD), Mescaline cacti, and N,N-Dimethyltryptamine (DMT/Ayahuasca). The alkaloid Psilocybin is also found in over 160 species of mushrooms, of these are species of the Psilocybe, Panaeolus, Gymnopilus, Copelandia, Inocybe genuses, among others. Heroic doses of cubensis range from 5-7g dried mushroom and above, and these doses are notable for their extremely powerful, mystical, out of body, earthy, and psychedelic visual and auditory effects. Heroic doses, and psychedelics in general, should be approached with extreme caution; and obviously, if you take this much you should not go on a walk in the forest and meet the gods there; do it in a safe space with a sitter.
