Years ago when I came up with this idea of mine, I was looking for a cheap and easy alternative to handmade paper. Back then youtube or googling wasn't so popular and I just went ahead and experimented. The outcome was so great that it has been an all time favorite. There are many versions on youtube...I'm sharing mine with you all :) So if you're looking for a easy DIY, this faux textured handmade paper is just your thing :)
You might notice, I have opted for discarded printouts that have print only one side of the paper. Saving paper is important!
With this paper craft, making bookmarks, DIY cards for birthdays or any other occasion is a pretty popular choice. You can also make your own gift tags with it which can look quite unique personalised.
