Happy New Year!!! :) This is one of two covers I'm uploading today since it may be an acquired taste.
So I was quite pleasantly surprised at the response my Belinda Carlisle cover got and I like how there is more demand to Leppardize some other songs. I don't think I can Leppardize just any old song, as I think they need to have a certain sound and production to them. And they have to be songs I like too.
So although this may seem an odd choice, there's a lot of logic to it. Co written and produced by Mutt, this track has some Leppard like guitar parts in already and it's also a song I really liked as a kid. I think the late 90's pop scene with The Corrs and Shania Twain helped cement my love for Mutt Lange productions, even though I didn't know it at the time.
And for the inevitable Corrs question...it's Andrea. ;)
