South Manitou Island: Shoreline Preservation Project

Описание: South Manitou Island shore was shrinking due to rising lake levels and high winds causing danger to multiple historic buildings along the Island shore. A shoreline preservation project took place during the summer of 2018.

South Manitou Island is part of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. A vast space of land along Michigan's west coast that was voted the most beautiful place in America by Good Morning America.
