The situation between Pakistan and Afghanistan has escalated following a controversial series of airstrikes. Pakistan claims to have conducted six airstrikes inside Afghanistan, including one in Kabul. According to Pakistan, the strikes targeted facilities belonging to Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), particularly a weapons and ammunition depot located at Camp Phoenix. The operation reportedly involved Pakistan Air Force using JF-17 Thunder aircraft equipped with precision-guided munitions. However, Afghanistan strongly disputes this claim, stating that the strikes hit the Omid Addiction Treatment Hospital. Afghan officials report that over 400 people were killed and more than 250 injured in the attack. They also emphasize that the hospital is located several kilometers away from any military site.
