Wake up with us as the first light of day touches our sailboat, anchored in a quiet, hidden bay. Out here, the world feels big and wild — and our little floating home is just a tiny part of it. Birds call across the stillness, and the kids are already pulling on boots, ready to explore.
We head to shore where tidepools are waiting—little worlds full of fish, crabs, and mystery. The kids are wide-eyed, asking questions, learning by doing, and following their own curiosity. This is homeschooling, nature-style—messy, real, and full of magic.
And then, just when we think the day can’t get better — orcas appear on the horizon! We scramble back to the boat, anchor up, and set sail in hopes of seeing them up close. It’s one of those moments where everything else fades, and the wild takes center stage.
As the sun sets, we drop anchor again, share stories over a warm dinner, and soak in the kind of peace that only comes after a day spent outside, together.
