Emergency crews responded to a serious overnight crash on westbound I-44 just west of North May Avenue in Oklahoma City.

Around 2:07 AM, Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Oklahoma City Police, and Oklahoma City Fire were dispatched to reports of a collision involving a Honda sedan that was rear-ended by another westbound vehicle. The impact was severe, crushing the trunk area of the Honda into the backseat.
Despite the significant damage, the driver of the Honda was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The other driver was not injured and was released at the scene. Authorities say the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
