We have some really good news coming out of Judea & Samaria.
Just yesterday, a brand-new Jewish community was officially inaugurated in Samaria. The town of Rachavam was established with 10 pioneering families near the existing community of Migdalim. While that number may sound small, this is how every Jewish town in the Biblical Heartland begins — with families willing to plant roots, build homes, and take responsibility for the future of the land.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Samaria’s regional governor, Yossi Dagan, along with leaders from the Amana movement, an organization that has played a major role over the decades in establishing and strengthening Jewish communities throughout Judea & Samaria. These are not symbolic gestures — they involve infrastructure, housing, agriculture, security, and long-term planning.
This new community is part of a much larger vision by the Samaria Regional Council to bring 1 million Jewish residents to Samaria in the coming decades. That goal isn’t just about numbers — it’s about ensuring a strong Jewish presence in the heart of the land of Israel, strengthening security, developing the economy, and restoring areas that were neglected or left barren for generations.
Rachavam may begin with just 10 families, but history shows us that small beginnings often lead to lasting impact. Many of today’s major cities and towns in Israel started exactly this way — a handful of families, caravans, and a lot of faith.
And for those of us who read the Bible, moments like this carry even deeper meaning.
When a new Jewish town is established on the mountains of Israel, biblical prophecy is not an abstract idea — it’s something you can see with your own eyes. The prophet Amos wrote:
“I will bring back the captives of My people Israel;
They shall build the waste cities and inhabit them;
They shall plant vineyards and drink wine from them;
They shall also make gardens and eat fruit from them.” (Amos 9:14)
If you come to Judea & Samaria today, you’ll see this everywhere. Vineyards covering hillsides that were once empty. New farms reclaiming rocky terrain. Young families building homes where Jewish life had been absent for centuries.
This isn’t theory. It’s happening in real time.
The nation of Israel is back in its land — not just surviving, but rebuilding, planting, and bringing the land back to life. Exactly as the prophets foretold.
And Rachavam is now part of that story.
