Texas Gov. Greg Abbott spoke at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee on Wednesday, a day devoted to foreign policy and national security, as well as Sen. J.D. Vance’s formal acceptance of the vice presidential nomination. He touted his use of the Texas National Guard to "take back our land and wire it shut" from migrants.
Former President Donald Trump named Vance as his running mate Monday. During the convention, delegates will adopt a party platform and Trump will address the convention Thursday.
