Myst is a point and click puzzle adventure video game with a first person view designed by Robyn and Rand Miller and developed by Cyan.

The game was released on September 24, 1993 for the Macintosh. On PC, it will remain the best-selling video game in the world until 2002.

The soundtrack of the game was entirely composed by Robyn Miller, is composed of calm music with many echoes made by the mysterious dimension of the game.
Virgin Records bought the rights to it and released a CD album which was released on April 21, 1998.

Myst est un jeu vidéo d'aventure et de réflexion en point and click avec une vue à la première personne conçu par Robyn et Rand Miller et développé par Cyan.

Le jeu est sorti le 24 septembre 1993 sur Macintosh. Sur PC, il restera le jeu vidéo le plus vendu au monde jusqu'en 2002.

La bande originale du jeu a entièrement été réalisée par Robyn Miller, elle est composée de musiques calmes avec de nombreux échos renforçant la dimension mystérieuse du jeu.
Virgin Records en acheta les droits et édita un album CD qui sortit le 21 avril 1998.
