The song “Panchatunda Nararundamaladhara” is a nandi composed by poet Balvant (Annasaheb) Kirloskar in praise of Lord Ganesha. Nandi is sung before the starting of a play, as it is the norm to worship Ganesha before starting anything auspicious. It was written in late 19th century, so it is written in the sanskritic style of the time.
