Starter Pokemon. The very first Pokemon that we choose to take with us on each of our Pokemon journeys. These are Pokemon with very unique themes and origins and every generation has a specific set of themes for their 3 starter Pokemon. The Pokemon anime and games have never really talked about these origins too much, and while you may rank some of these starters as your best or favorite Pokemon, every single one of them have a unifying quality them tying them in with the generation that they originate from as well as their respective starter trio.
