Yoga Nidra - often called yogic sleep - is a powerful, evidence-informed practice that invites the nervous system into profound relaxation while maintaining a gentle thread of awareness. This practice is designed to help you soften self-judgment, reconnect with your inner sense of worth, and cultivate love both toward yourself and others.
In this Valentine’s practice, you’ll be guided to:
✨ Set a heartfelt sankalpa (intention)
✨ Visit an inner altar of love and devotion
✨ Experience a slow, spacious full-body relaxation
✨ Rest deeply in a state of calm awareness
This practice is especially supportive if you are:
• Feeling emotionally tired or overwhelmed
• Working on self-compassion or healing relationship patterns
• Wanting to reconnect with your heart in a gentle, non-forced way
• Seeking rest without needing to “do” anything
🧘♀️ How to practice:
Lie down in a comfortable position and allow yourself to rest. This practice is best experienced while lying down, but can also be done seated. You may fall asleep—and that’s okay. The benefits still land.
