Bodycam Video Shows Moment Two Brothers & Other Bystanders Pull Injured Atlanta Cop From Burning Car

Описание: Heart-pounding bodycam footage captures the moment good Samaritans jumped into action to pull a badly injured Atlanta cop from his burning patrol car — as his own gun started firing from the heat.

Atlanta Police Officer Malik Safi was on his way to assist a fellow cop at 10:22 p.m. Oct. 20 when he lost control of his squad car and slammed into a house, with the vehicle bursting into flames, according to dramatic video released by the department over the weekend.

That’s when brothers Ryan Beck and Kashun Robinson ran over with a couple of other neighbors to pull Safi to safety — even ducking bullets after the flames began discharging ammo from one of the cop’s guns inside the car, according to police.

“We just went off our heart,” Beck said. “Like, went off our heart like we were raised. We don’t want to see nobody suffering in that type of situation. So we just hopped out and sprung into action.”
