What makes ELYSIUM I stand out
Riva design has its own language — high-gloss woods, polished stainless, crisp lines — and ELYSIUM I leans into it beautifully.
But this yacht goes a step further than “what you expect from a Riva”.
A highly customised interior with details that feel properly considered
A single-piece marble floor (cut to get it onboard, then reassembled so the grain matches perfectly)
Intricate wood panelling that elevates the cabinetry into something genuinely special
And one of my favourite themes on this yacht: look up — the ceilings and lighting design are a masterclass
The 110 vs the 102
A logical question is: what do you actually gain stepping up from the Riva 102 to the 110?
One of the most noticeable answers is right at the front: the foredeck on ELYSIUM I is a serious space — and it’s not just sunpads and seating. There’s also a huge storage section that opens up to swallow fenders, lines, and the things that usually clutter a deck… and on this yacht, the crew have even fitted two large freezers for longer trips.
Flybridge details I love
Up top, there’s a detail that feels tiny… until you notice it everywhere: the cross stitching on the upholstery. It gives the whole yacht that premium “Bentley” feel.
And then there’s the bar setup — one of the coolest practical features on board:
a covered module that rises up to become a proper bar, complete with work surface, sink, and prep space. (A great reminder that a small barbecue sounds nice in theory… but usable worktop often wins in real life.)
The salon: unapologetically Riva
So many modern yachts chase full-height glass, and I get it — light, views, “at one with the ocean.”
But I love that Riva are unapologetic in bucking that trend here, because the payoff is obvious:
magnificent cabinetry, better storage, and a feeling that you’re in a yacht that’s properly high-end — not just another floating glass box.
And yes… even the ceiling breaks the “rules”. Dark wood overhead is supposed to make spaces feel smaller — but on this yacht it just looks spectacular, and the headroom is genuinely impressive for this size.
A few buyer notes that matter
The photography on board was commissioned during COVID, when Florence was empty — and it adds real atmosphere.
Just remember: don’t assume items like artwork and photography are included. Always ask for a clear inventory list before you make an offer.
ELYSIUM I offers five staterooms for up to 11 guests, thanks to a Pullman — and that extra berth can really matter.
She’s also commercially coded, which is a big deal if charter capability is important to you.
Crew & operational highlights
You’ll also see the raised pilothouse helm position, a compact high-end galley, well-laid-out crew quarters, a tender garage, and the popular setup with a 7m Ribeye chase tender.
And one final practical point: always keep an eye on 5-year and 10-year survey timing as a buyer. The good news here is the 5-year work was completed in 2024, and the stabiliser fins were serviced at the same time — and yes, these stabilisers work at anchor too.
