Описание: Please comment, like & subscribe. The Butemwe Singers bring this male only gospel album from 1981. This isn't their earliest album, but it's easily as good as many of their others. This record is a bit beat up. I reduced the noise electronically, though that process did leave some artifacts. I think it's more enjoyable with a bit less noise.

The Butemwe Singers are a Zambian Gospel singing group associated with Mikomfwa Baptist Church in Luanshya, a city in the Copperbelt Region of Zambia. The exact origin of the Butemwe Singers is unavailable, but they first began releasing music via the Teal Records label Songs Of Praise in 1979, with additional singles and albums in the following decades. Their music features a mix of Acapella singing and light instrumentation. The Butemwe Singers have been in continuous existence since before 1979, with numerous changes to membership over the years. The group remained active as of 2023. They are often includes, along with Malaila Singers as among Zambia's greatest gospel choirs of the 1980's.
