I can't fall asleep tonight, no matter how hard I try

The silver atmosphere is here when I try to hold my dreams near
But now I'm insomnia's unwilling volunteer

I've been working on a box
And I can't wait to turn it on and see what it unlocks
All I've got to do is turn the key

A bright light shined across the galaxy
And rivers flowed with ecstasy around my helpless soul
I saw a silhouette of a person I once knew
I swear it had to be you

I walk back and forth in time, with these events in my mind
I wonder if it's possible to wake up and rewind
These fairy tales get quite so old
Don't know how many times that I've been told
I grow tired and I start to feel cold

Through the oceans and the skies
You can travel anywhere, just hold your breath and close your eyes
All you've got to do is turn the key
And then the magic will begin
You'll understand what it means to dream
