Resource Drive is still broken, so we brute forced it | Star Citizen 4.2 Gameplay

Описание: Resource Drive in Star Citizen has been having issues to the point that CIG decided to extend it into 4.3 to ensure everyone gets a chance to get what they wanted out of the event. It is disheartening that CIG has had issues locking down the problems with cargo elevators.
After hearing from our members in the Forgotten Heralds about their woes with the elevators and many having problems just getting the intro level cargo missions to work. Command in FH decided to get together and put some taskforces together to knock out the combat contracts and share the bounty with our members.

Workaround to get the starter Resource Drive missions working:

Take the starter mission
Store/claim a vehicle with a cargo grid that has less than 3scu (C8 or CSV confirmed to work) at the outpost you are told to pick up the cargo at. Make sure the vehicle is stored there.
Go buy 3scu of the cheapest commodity that location sells, setting it to auto load to the vehicle you have stored
wait out the autoload timer
summon the vehicle
It will spawn with your 3scu of mission cargo on the grid instead of the cargo you bought
you can now either fly off with your cargo or load it onto your main ship, depending on which vehicle you used.

If you do not own these vehicles, they can be bought ingame (370k for CSV, 750k for C8), both at new deal IIRC
