Harel Shachal Mood 230221
Sadness in my heart this morning at the sight of hatred between friends. Regardless of what is right or wrong, I have no doubt in my mind that creating polarisation and hatred between broders and sisters is wrong. This morning I recorded this improvisation that came out of my heart as a pray, it is played in Makam (scale) called "Shevkitarab" . It starts heavy and sad and ends with a slightly optimistic tone. A prayer for unity between all.
Mood is a project of live meditative improvisation on my Clarinet. Recording without any editing and without any other instruments playing with me. The sound of silence is my canvas and my muze.
Every now and then I record a new piece with the mood of that day. The piece is improvised on a specific musical scale or on a specific Makam (Middle Eastern scales and modes) or just a melody that comes to me from the muzes on the spot.
