Heidi and Charles travel to Gloucester, Massachusetts to explore the abandon colonial settlement now called Dogtown, also called Dogtown Common. Originally settled around 1650 and called the Common Settlement, Dogtown was once a prosperous town but soon degraded into a decrepit location filled with prostitutes and vagabonds. As the town continued to deteriorate, it was believed that several witches lived in the town, such as Judith Rhine and Tammy Younger (who is often called the Queen of the Witches) . The town was abandoned by the early 19th century and become overgrown with nature. Today, among the trees and trails, there are some stone walls and cellar holes that remain. During the great Depression, Roger Babson hired stone workers to carve inspirational words and sayings into several boulders, which today are called the Babson Boulders. Besides the history, the place is said to be haunted by a woman in black and large phantom cat, possible related to the witches. On a summer day, Heidi and Charles explores this ghost town.
