Don't abuse your truck though!

This product was installed on a 2001 Dodge 2500 24v cummins turbo diesel 5spd manual transmission non-53 engine block. The result in power is not exaggerated, it is night and day.

This truck had a stock engine with the exception of an aftermarket Rapter 150 fuel feed pump. The FFP PSI runs at 14-17 at idle and will drop below 10 at WOT on Adrenaline level 10. Also going up a steep grade on level 10, the nv4500 stock clutch slipped. (BE CAUTIOUS WITH STOCK PARTS).

The Bluetooth-Android communicator works great with many features, such as high idle. Also, any sensor available is worth having to save you in the long run. The fuel pressure sensor is a must, regardless if you have a tuner, for the sake of knowing the Bosch VP44 injector pump is being lubricated with fuel.

NOTES: Follow the provided Adrenaline installation instructions. They are very straight forward and detailed.

Things I would change on another installation,

Center the Exaust Gas Temperature (EGT) sensor between pistons 3 and 4 as pur the instructions, even on the OE manifold. The picture in the instruction booklet was of an aftermarket exhaust manifold? After I installed the senser I realized how high it sits i.e. tapered threads. Makes sense. TIP: I used a magnet to collect the metal drill shavings.

The Big Line kit ordered from xtremediesel.com contained a 90 degree fitting that has a port at the elbow. It most likely will work with the temperature sensor, but I used the Tee instead. It may read more accurately closer to the injector pump. (Update) the listed Big Line kit does not require a Tee. The fuel pressure sensor will thread to the 90 degree angle.

An upgraded air filter and fuel filter will be the only remaining added features to this engine at the moment. A new paint job, bumpers and all the upgrades the engine could handle is a vision down the road.
