On this segment of The Henry Ford's Innovation Nation, Adam Yamaguchi meets with Steve Kaufman, the founder of Quikiks who created the hands-free shoe for those with physical challenges.
Users can easily step into the Quikiks without having to bend over or tie their shoes. The rear portion of Quikiks tilts back on a hinge allowing the user to easily slip their foot right into the shoe. With applied pressure, the hinge then closes the heel of the shoe and securely fastens the foot.
